Lauren Perry

Why did you get into the music industry?
I had a discussion with my Dad while in high school about what I should pursue after. He encouraged me to look at my interests and talents and go from there. My love for music coupled with my leadership skills pointed me towards Ferris State University, the only school in Michigan offering a Music Industry Management degree. From there, the rest is history! I definitely made the right choice.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of being a co-creator of Turn Up The Good, a now annual concert at Ferris State University.8 friends and I presented the proposal at Ferris State’s Finance Division and Student Government meetings. We were allocated a $40,000 budget & assisted in every aspect of production from concept to clean up. We had over 1600 in attendance and the concert is now in it’s 4th year! Always nice to leave something behind.
